Happy Birthday Jake!

Tuesday was Jake's birthday! We didn't do anything too exciting since he had to work, but we did have some friends over for cake and ice-cream. I forgot to take pictures when everyone was over! A 2 bedroom apartment feels pretty small with 16 people in it! Jake doesn't like to go out to eat so we just had dinner at home. I got Jake some golf clubs -he'd been wanting some for a long time. I think he was pretty excited about them.
This is at the petting zoo here in Everett. Kaylee loves it! She got to pet goats, bunnies, and calves. They also have sheep, ducks and chicks.
Here we are petting the cow. Besdies our playing we have been busy trying to find a new apartment. We are on the 3rd floor now and I don't want to be on the 3rd floor with 2 kids! We are trying to stay in our ward boundaries so that really narrows the search. There is a certain street in our ward -Casino Road- which had a reputation for drugs, and violence. That is where most of the apartments are in our ward and I refuse to live there! We are going to look at another townhouse today and I hope it works out, otherwise we might have to change wards. Wish us luck!

New Picture

So this is really small but this is one of the pictures I got today from my ultrasound! I think the 3D ones are so cool! It is so fun to watch her move and see what is moving as I feel it. I have another ultrasound in 6 more weeks to make sure she is growing ok. So far she measures right on at 26 weeks.

A Great Vacation

We had a great vacation this past week. We met up with all of Jake's family in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Our hotel was right on the beach. This is the view out of our hotel room. Jake, Kaylee, and I ended up in a master suite. It was nice. The beach was semi-private so it was never too crowded. It was sure HOT there! We went from the 50's in Wa to high 80's low 90's with high humidity! If we weren't by the coast where there was a breeze we were dying. In fact when we walked out of the airport and felt the hot humid air Kaylee wanted to run right back inside. Here is everyone at the beach. Kaylee wasn't so sure about it at first but in the end she didn't want to leave it! Kaylee and I sure enjoyed having a whole week with Jake! It was nice to have a break from work!6 months pregnant at the beach! I had to buy a tank top to go over my swim suit since my belly poked out of it.
This was Kaylee's favorite part, digging in the sand and picking up sea shells. She would sit for hours if we let her. We also went to an Aquarium while there. Here are the cousins with the jelly fish. Not the best picture, but it was all I got.
They had a huge tunnel aquarium that had sharks, fish, a sea turtle... and this guy- a Saw fish. I'd never seen a saw fish before.
There were also some swimming pools at the hotel. Kaylee loved the pools too. We had a great time there. The only bad part was the traveling! Our flight coming home we didn't get into Seattle until 11:15 at night which is past our bed time, especially since we were still on eastern time so to us it was like 2:15 am. Kaylee slept 3 of the 6 hours of the flight but the other 3 she was tired and restless, but still very good. My feet were all swollen by the time we got off. I'm just glad I won't be getting on a plane for a while!

South Carolina...here we come!

This week is the annual Williams' Family Vacation! We are headed to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to stay in a hotel right on the beach! I'm pretty excited for it. Sure, we have a beach here in Washington, but you'd be pretty crazy to swim in the water here- it's cold!! Anyway, the blog won't be updated for a while since we will be gone. I know I said the blog would be private by the end of May, but I'm a slacker so, sometime soon it will be.
