Austin's Blessing

Austin was blessed by Jake last Sunday.

Jake's parents came straight from their cruise on Saturday to be there and had to leave Sunday. It was nice to have them visit even though it was short. Kaylee and Brooke really enjoyed playing with "Oma" and "Papa".

My parents and little sister also came. They came Thursday night hoping for a nice sunny Texas weekend. Unfortunately it rained almost every day they were here. Kaylee and Brooke kept them pretty busy playing inside. We also went to lunch and to the mall to play. My parents watched all the kids Saturday so Jake and I could go to the temple! It was so nice to go. We hadn't been there in months (I miss the 10 min trip to the temple we had in Lubbock.) We also go lunch in the temple cafeteria. Temple food is heavenly! (Maybe it just tastes better after doing service.)
We had a great weekend with family here. We LOVE having visitors- hopefully next time it will be sunny.
My mom's friend made these cute cowboy boots for Austin. I love them! Every Texas needs cowboy boots!

Cafe Rio Night

We got together with some friends last night and made some delicious Cafe Rio salads!
Everything was so good! It's so nice to have a house with space to host a party!

Doesn't that make you hungry?  Kind of funny we got pictures of the food but not of the people.
I hope we make this a once a month tradition.

Baby Austin

This little guy is now 7 weeks old. He started smiling last week (which melts my heart) and cooing. I love to see him smiling at his sisters.
Austin always has his hand like this. The letter "n" in sign language I think?

He loves his swing and his binky...

but he hates tummy time! He puts up with it for about 30 seconds and then cries until he gets picked up or gives up, puts his head down and sucks his fist- occasionally falling asleep. He sleeps so much better on his belly so sometimes I let him. Does that make me a bad mother? -Just don't tell my pediatrician
