Has anyone else seen this...?

I watched this last night on t.v. and I was disgusted! I never knew where our food came from and that the food industry was so powerful. You can watch a trailer for the movie here.

Rainbow Bread

Somehow it always tastes better when it is rainbow bread. Kaylee has been asking for days to make some more.

Half Way!

Saturday we went and walked around the Texas Tech campus. The girls and I don't go up there much- there isn't a lot of parking.

It was a hot day - almost 90 but we found some shady places to sit. There are a lot of neat buildings on campus.We are HALF WAY DONE with grad school now!!! It's been a change to go from work back to the student life, but it has been good. The semester is almost done and then we're off to Fort Worth for the summer. Jake has one more semester when we get back and then he is DONE in December!!

Easter Weekend

This weekend we enjoyed coloring and dying Easter eggs...

Kaylee really liked dying them. She put the same egg in different colored dyes until it became an interesting color. We also learned she really likes hard boiled eggs.

They also loved picking up the treats left by the Easter bunny. We don't have many pictures since we were using the camera to take video instead of pictures. I tried to upload the video but it wasn't working. Brooke found a piece of candy first thing and that pretty much distracted her from picking up any more eggs so Kaylee got them all.

We also enjoyed watching conference. We put up a little tent in Kaylee's room hoping that the girls would play in there so we could hear conference. It didn't work too well so I didn't hear as much as I would have liked. I did notice there were lots of talks on parenting - especially for mothers! Great! I can't wait to read them. Thank goodness for the Conference Ensign! It is so nice to have councel on how to be a better mother.
